Dear Henneberg family:
It is with deep sadness we learned of the passing of Tony. Our memories of Tony are so many. His explosive smile, loving bear hugs, spontaneous humor, generous hospitality, personal interest in each individual, expressions of affection, amazing friendliness, family loyalty, deep spirituality, are just a few of our memories of Tony. He always made you feel loved, appreciated, valued, and respected. We loved Tony. He was a joy to be with, a pleasure to know. It has been a privilege to have him in our family. The last time we visited the Henneberg family, he took time out of his schedule to take us on a tour of Lake Coeur d’Alene, including an unscheduled paragliding excursion over the lake. He went jogging one morning during that visit, met up with a friend of our family and invited him up to his home to see us. At that chance meeting, the Lord answered a prayer we were earnestly praying that very morning regarding one of our children. It was Tony’s habit of physical activity and unusual friendliness and hospitality that allowed the Lord to answer our prayer. This was Tony. This story is but the tip of the iceberg of how God was able to bless His children through this godly man. We can’t wait to spend eternity with him. May God help us to seek the Lord with all our heart to this end is our fervent prayer.
Much love,
