It’s difficult to say goodbye to someone, especially a friend like Tony Henneberg. He made a huge difference in my life, reminding me regularly that our God is winsome and loves us fiercely. I will miss our theological discussions, trips to Cuba together, his hilarious jokes, sharing lunch, and many more things I enjoyed experiencing with Tony. I will be forever grateful for his wise counsel, lavish generosity, and empowering encouragement. During our last conversation together a week ago, Tony told me he wanted to be my neighbor in heaven. I can’t wait to be there to bask in the winsomeness of God together for eternity.
